These snap-on earrings consist of a light-bronze bead, hanging delicately from a small, silver chain attached to a simple clasp.

When attuned to, the Thought-Bauble earrings create a small link between the minds of the creatures wearing them. Creatures can detect the surface-level thoughts of other creatures wearing the paired earrings. Simple messages can be transferred between the two creatures within 60 feet of each other. Distances greater than 60 feet, magical silence, 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood create a degrading effect on the message sent between the earrings; much like the effect a game of 'telephone'  would have on it's original message by the end of the game. Listed conditions may instead block the message entirely.

Additionally, if two creatures wearing the Thought Bauble earrings are able to maintain eye contact, they may share a detailed mental image with each other as well. This effect becomes hazy or distorted beyond ranges of 30 feet, depending on the perception of the creatures and their ability to maintain eye contact.

May have mixed results on unwilling creatures, or creatures of low intelligence.
