A pair of rings one gold and one silver. Created by a magus who watched their entire party die. These rings have the capacity to elongate the distance of touch-based spells exponentially.
Once the silver counterpart ring is bound to another party member the wearer of the gold host ring may touch their's with any touch-based spell and have it take effect. the Host may ignore the touch range of any spell. But not any other limitations stated. for instance, if the target needs to be willing and they are not the spell will not take effect.
The host will experience half of any effect on hit points as the counterpart. This includes healing spells. If the counterpart dies and the host still has hit points the ring severs the digit turning it into ash.
If the Host dies both rings warp into crystal figures of snowdrop flowers. destroying them in the process.
the wearer may take the rings off at any time as a bonus action.
Notes: willingly giving the sliver ring to a party member then placing the gold ring themselves (this cannot be done under any form of duress or manipulation magical or otherwise)
