This metal armor is made out of many overlapping scales. You gain the following benefits while wearing this armor:
-
You can use the armor as a spellcasting focus for your druid spells.
-
The armor attaches to you and can’t be removed against your will. It also expands to cover your entire body, although you can retract or deploy the helmet as a bonus action. The armor replaces any missing limbs, functioning identically to a body part it is replacing.
-
When you wildshape whilst wearing this armor, the armor expands or contracts to cover your new form. The armor functions as normal. You cannot wildshape into a form two size categories larger or smaller than your own whilst wearing this armor. If the armor is removed or if you die, the armor reverts to its normal humanoid form.
This armor consists of a coat and leggings (and perhaps a separate skirt) of leather covered with overlapping pieces of metal, much like the scales of a fish. The suit includes gauntlets.
