A surprisingly delicate fork of mithral, Tolomei’s Tuning Tines functions not only as a resonator for finding the perfect note, they can be an instrument of their own right. Each time you strike the enchanted tuning fork, you may select a different note, pitch, or resonance that you have already heard at least once and recreate it unerringly.
A creature that attempts to play the instrument without being attuned to it must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or take 2d4 pyschic damage.
You can use an action to cast the catapult spell at 4th level from the instrument at will. You can use an action to cast the following spells from it: thunderwave (3rd), earth tremor (3rd), and confusion. Once the instrument has been used to cast a spell, it can’t be used to cast that spell again until the next dawn. The spells use your spellcasting ability and spell save DC.
When you give a creature a bardic inspiration while holding the tuning fork, another creature within 30 feet of you that can hear you must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or be deafened for 1 minute.
Notes: Deafened, bard
