This palm-sized blob of gray colored “clay” changes in texture according to the food item that you think of while holding it. The attuned creature has 3 charges to cause the following effect, regaining 1d3 charges at the start of the next dawn.
As an action, you can target one enemy that you can see within 30 ft. that currently has 50 HP or less and force them to make a Constitution saving throw, DC 17. On a failure, the creature dies and turns into a food item of your choice that, when eaten by you or another creature, grants 3d4+3 HP and an additional feature/ability determined by the creature’s type. If a creature has a subtype, the creature consuming the food item only gains the features associated with the eaten creature’s primary type. If there are somehow multiple primary types, I will slay that DM with my bare hands. This process is incredibly horrific, as you can see and hear the connective tissue and guts sloshing and being pulled into the shape of any food item you wish. A creature has to eat the whole thing to benefit. Effects are cumulative and last until the end of your next long rest. If uneaten, these food items last for one week (7 days, not 5).
Aberration: you have resistance to psychic damage and telepathy to 60 ft. Can speak Deep Speech.
Beast: you become this beast as if you had cast Polymorph on yourself, the duration instead lasting until the end of your next long rest. Does not require concentration. Can speak with Beasts.
Celestial: you gain resistance to radiant damage. You sprout wings and gain a fly speed of 30 ft. and the Flyby feature, and can also speak Celestial.
Construct: you may use your reaction to become resistant to nonmagical slashing, piercing, or bludgeoning damage dealt by weapons that are not adamantine for a single attack. Any damage done by the attack of other types is not reduced in any way. This can be used any number of times as long as you still have this feature.
Dragon: you gain Frightful Presence with a radius of 30 feet and DC of 17. Additionally, you gain a breath weapon equivalent to a Dragonborn of the associated type of dragon you have eaten. Can speak Draconic.
Elemental: depending on the type, you gain one of these features:
- Air: lightning resistance, fly speed of 30 ft.
- Fire: fire resistance, you are aflame and deal 1d6 fire damage to any creature that touches you, hits you with a melee attack while within 5 feet of you, or ends their turn within 5 feet of you
- Water: cold resistance, swim speed of 30 ft.
- Earth: you have a burrow speed of 30 ft. and it counts as earth gliding. Can speak a Primordial dialect respective of the type of elemental.
Fey: you gain Magic Resistance (advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects) for the duration. Can speak Sylvan.
Fiend: depends on type.
- Devil: gain Devil’s Sight, and your weapon attacks deal an extra 2d8 fire damage on a hit, can speak Fiend.
- Demon: gain Death Throes feature of Balor, if this feature procs, your body is also destroyed, can speak Abyssal.
- Yugoloth: You can speak, read, and write all languages.
Humanoid: can speak all languages that this Humanoid knew in life and gain one of their skill/tool proficiencies. If you already have proficiency in the chosen skill/tool, you instead gain expertise.
Monstrosity: (kinda hard) gain one feature of the given Monstrosity at DM discretion.
Ooze: you become an amorphous blob of your current size category, and can move through spaces as small as 1 inch wide. Additionally, you gain the Split feature as in Black Pudding. Your duplicates gain none of your items, and on your turn, only one of you may move and take actions. However, all duplicates have reactions. At the end of this effect, the split blobs (that are still alive) will conjoin, returning you to a single creature.
Plant: as an action, you can plant yourself into the ground, reducing your movement to zero. If you do so, you cannot be knocked prone or otherwise be forced to move. This effect lasts until you are knocked unconscious or you spend your action unrooting yourself. You also gain vulnerability to fire damage.
Undead: gain resistance to necrotic damage, and immunity to poison damage and the poisoned condition. You also become immune to exhaustion, and you do not have to eat, sleep, drink, or breathe. However, you can no longer be healed through magical means until the end of this effect.
