The Time Shifter is a recording of ages passed, acting as a gateway into history. Using the Ancient Illusion spell on the Time Shifter will transport the persons minds into the time and event the book has recorded. 
While the characters are away from their bodies, they are incapacitated. This effect ends once the time shift ends. The only way to end a time shift is to experience it until it ends.

This item can only be used by a character with the ability to use magic.
