You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
This one-handed sword comes with a Saya (Scabbard), has the finesse property and deals slashing damage.
Imbued with the soul of a fallen wielder, this sword gained a magic aura from the still burning spirit to overcome any hesitations to strike, that could cost your life.
Fighting Options:
- Wide Strike: As you swing you can strike multiple enemies(up to three) within 3 adjacent fields of your reach, including your main target. When your main target got hit you can choose 2 more targets within that fields, so that all take 1 magical damage as this sword is covered in colored flames.
- Quick Draw: When this sword is in it's Saya, you can directly use it to make a single melee weapon attack and put it back in the Saya, while leaving a trace of your colored flames. You can't use Wide Strike if you do so. If you choose not to put it back directly, you need an action or bonus action to do so.
Has 1 Charge, regained after a long rest, that can be spend on following actions:
- Deflect: As a reaction you can try to deflect a non-magical projectile, that would hit you. Make an attack with this weapon against the projectiles attack roll, if you exceeded that roll choose another target within 10 feet of you, use your attack roll against that creature. On hit the creature takes the original projectile damage + the amount of points you exceeded the attackers roll. If spent on a magical projectile it just fails to deflect and the charge is lost.
- Quick Step: As an action+bonus action, if no bonus action was taken this turn and can't be taken afterwards this turn, you can push up to 10 feet approaching an enemy and dealing a devastating strike. You make one normal weapon attack dealing an extra 1d8 of magical damage on hit, half as much on a miss and 4d8 on a critical hit.
- Empower: As a bonus action you can empower your Wide Strike for 2 attacks, loading up your colored flames growing even stronger. Dealing your proficiency bonus as magical damage to each target instead of 1. Missed attacks count as used against that buff.
Proficiency with a Rapier allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
