Weapon (halberd), artifact (requires attunement by a Druids, Druidic Bloodline)

The name Yama Kaji Nyoko means the Wildfire Gem. An heirloom of the Hayashi Clan that houses the flame of life. It is a wooden halberd crafted out of Phoenix Wood and processed with the flame of life. It normally is a quarterstaff but currently manifests as a halberd. When awakened, the attuned person can change the shape of the item through an 8-hour ritual that requires completely dismantling the item with fire and having it grow out of natural soil. The tip of the blade houses the embers of life from the ever burning flame that was housed in the Hayashi Sanctuary.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Cleave. If you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using this weapon, you can make a melee attack roll with the weapon against a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. On a hit, the second creature takes the weapon’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
