Xandrakar's Morellonomicon is a cursed tome but one that is often sought after nonetheless from those operating in the highest of magical circles. This flesh bound book has a spine made of bone, there a many of these cursed tomes and the flesh can be from any living creature, as long as it was taken willingly. Throughout history these tomes were often made from slaves, in exchange for their freedom. Powerful mages would take slabs of the slaves flesh to fashion the tome and release the slave, so that the demonic pact may be struck. The tome bestows other worldly knowledge to it's owner but also slowly slowly siphons their life force from them. Xandrakar's Morellonomicon grants the user a permanent +1 to their Intelligence and Wisdom modifier's, but also a -2 to their constitution modifier's. The tome acts as a wizards spell book, and reduces their time to copy new spells down by half, but also dealing 1d4 psychic damage per hour spent applying the new spell.
