A heavy greataxe whose blade seems to be made of a blue crystal that when inspected, seems to show an endless ocean within, the Tidebringer is the family weapon of the Anuxath clan, carried by its leader into battle against those who would threaten their home, the Tidebringer is drenched in the blood of scions, merfolk and sahuagin to the point its mere presence on the battlefield is enough to cause them fear.
While attuned to this weapon you gain the following benefits.
This weapon has a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls.
When you hit a creature with this weapon, they are dealt an additional 1d6 bludgeoning damage.
You gain a swim speed of 40ft.
While attuned to this weapon you have advantage on charisma checks against creatures with an innate swim speed.
You can cast the following spells once per day each, without the use of a spell slot. Once these spells are cast, they cannot be used again until the next dawn. The spell save DC for these spells is 15. Water Breathing, Wall of Water, Tidal Wave, Conjure Elemental (water only)
Proficiency with a Greataxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Cleave. If you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using this weapon, you can make a melee attack roll with the weapon against a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. On a hit, the second creature takes the weapon’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
