Staff (quarterstaff), uncommon (requires attunement)

This staff thrums and whirrs with power when wielded and can be activated when swung to deliver a crushing blow to an opponent. Its oscillations add 1 force damage to each and every strike. Tobias finds this be vastly superior to the shoddy craftsmanship of the regular staff.

Proficiency with a quarterstaff allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

The staff also has 3 charges. When you hit with a melee attack using it, you can expend 1 of its charges. For each charge you expend, the target takes an extra 1d4 force damage. The staff regains 1d3 expended charges daily at dawn.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
