Cloaked in darkness and dressed in black, wispy cloth, as if in mourning, the eternal heroes rest, all will meet her cold embrace, the ever-lonely forgotten heroes blade. Wraitharius is a sentient and legendary, forgotten longsword. All but lost to the passage of time, the sentient longsword wraitharius has developed some obsessive tendencies, seeking the love and affection of its wielder, the once heroic blade now refuses to give its power to all but those who are willing to literally sell their soul to wraitharius by pledging their undying love to the hilt of its handle.

When blanketed in magical light, wraitharius's blade shrouds itself and its wielder with wispy ribbons of darkness, as if using the darkness spell, that only the attuned wielder of wraitharius can see through.

When you hit with an attack using wraitharius, the target takes an extra 1d6 necrotic damage per level. In addition, while you are hold the blade, you have a magical resistance to necrotic damage and all poisoned conditions.

You can choose to use your action to absorb the souls of all recently deceased creatures within 30-feet of you, empowering your health, giving you (3d6) temporary hit points that last for one minute, you cannot take this action again until you complete a short rest.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
