This shield looks like a tangle of vines growing on a shield

While holding this shield, you have a +1 bonus to AC. This bonus is in addition to the shield's normal bonus to AC.

When you are attacked(but not hit) you can use your reaction to have the vines grow around the weapon. They will not be able to attack until they pull the weapon out which they have to use an action to make a DC 13 saving throw to pull the weapon out of the vines. After you use this ability 10 times the vines are chopped to bits and it becomes a normal magic shield.

Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
