Potion, uncommon

This silvery liquid has no scent but fills anyone who looks directly at it with a curious sense of unease.  When applied to a weapon or missile the poison remains potent for one minute before becoming inert.

A target damaged by a weapon or missile coated in this poison must succeed on a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw or be inflicted with mind venom.  While so afflicted, the target loses one spell slot (any first level or higher spell slot, chosen by the target) at the start of their turn.  If the target has no spell slots to lose for any reason they suffer 2d6 psychic damage at the start of their turn instead.  The target may repeat the saving throw at the end of each of their turns.  The mind venom effect ends after ten rounds or on a successful saving throw.
