Weapon (dagger), uncommon

The Wild Sliver Dagger started its existence as the simple, albeit magical, dagger worn by Xoorade Slevarian, Archmage of Holdstead. The dagger has a fine steel blade, a silver hilt, bound with twisted cooper wire, and a pale green round peridot set in the hilt. It is a +1 weapon. It’s about 400 years old.

Xoorade used various magical means to extend his life, but as time progressed and his desperation for more “time” grew, Xoorade turned to increasingly dangerous avenues. One such avenue he used was a Slaadi Mirror, an ornate, admantium handheld mirror,  which is a powerful magic item that linked the prime material plane with the howling winds of Pandemonium.  Xoorade had some sort of agreement (the details of which, perhaps fortunately, are lost) with an entity there who granted him youth.  The dagger worn at Xoorades’ belt was exposed to the chaos that is Pandemonium numerous times, and the gem set in the pommel slowly over time absorbed some of the magic of the plane.

On a critical hit, the gem flares with green light, and a wild surge pulses out of the blade  (use whatever table you see fit)

Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
