Weapon (warhammer), very rare (requires attunement by a one long rest to attune)

you gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon

It has the thrown property with a normal range of 20  feet and a long range of 60 feet.

When you hit with a ranged attack using this weapon, the hammer stays stationary and the wielder is thrown at the target impacting for the full weapon damage plus an extra 1d8 damage to medium or smaller targets, or 2d8 damage to large or gargantuan targets. The wielder takes half of the WEAPONS rolled damage upon impact.

Immediately after the attack the wielder flies back to the hammer.

After the 3rd use as a ranged attack the wielder becomes addicted to the magical thrill and prefers to make ranged attacks over melee. 

Unless a remove curse is cast on the hammer, the wielder will not let the hammer out of their sight, or use any other weapon. Nor will the wielder allow anyone else to touch his hammer willingly.

If the hammer is stolen the wielder will lose the ability to sleep or rest and be driven to retrieve the hammer at any cost, while constantly mumbling about their lost love.

 

Proficiency with a Warhammer allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Push. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can push the creature up to 10 feet straight away from yourself if it is Large or smaller.
