When worn, any spell that does not target self can be casted instantaneously, and if it’s between 3rd and 5th level, it adds an extra d4 of damage. If the spell is a 4th level or higher spell however, then no extra damage is given. Only two spells can be used on this device. Three spells are accessible when not multiclassing. Healing spells that target one or more creatures can be casted without cast time, and if the healing spell is 7th level or higher an extra d4 roll to add to the recovered hit points. THIS ITEM DOES NOT IGNORE SPELL SLOTS
(NOTE: two C.A.D’s cannot be used at the same time in one turn)
Upon use of two C.A.D’s players must roll a single D4 to determine the effect.
Rolling a 1 will result in the spell cancelling out.
Rolling a 2 will result in the spell blowing up in the casters face.
Rolling a 3 will prevent the spell from doing damage (status ailments such as bleed or burn will still apply). Rolling a 4 will result in the player taking minor damage (DM decides the damage)
Notes: A Wizard or sorcerer of level 5 or above with a wisdom of at least 14, and intelligence of 15, must attune this item for it to be used, Utility, Wristwear
