Weapon (dagger), very rare

Once upon a time, a vile troll crafted a spyglass made of ice. Looking through the eyeglass turned the view of a lush wheat field into a barren waste and a dear friend into a despised enemy. The troll delighted in his treasure until he stumbled and shattered the spyglass. Now, its fragments are scattered across the world, affecting the outlook of countless individuals.

To infect someone with an Iceglass Fragment, Make a melee attack against the target at disadvantage.

When you hit a creature with an attack using this weapon, the weapon is absorbed into them and lost. The target has disadvantage on Insight checks and must pass an Insight check (DC 15) to trust a friendly creature. An ally can nullify this effect for one day by making a successful Persuasion check DC 20. The affected creature also gains resistance to cold damage and treats any creature with Immunity: Cold as friendly, as though charmed. These effects last until nullified.

The Iceglass Fragment melts (is destroyed and its effects are nullified) after five consecutive days of successful Persuasion nullify checks from the same ally or when the DM decrees than an act of great friendship or love has occurred

Proficiency with a dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

Notes: Disadvantage: Weapon Attacks, Finesse, Light, Thrown
