Wondrous Item, legendary (requires attunement by a To attune, the user must hold the comb in their palm and think about what type of friends they'd like to have.)

Once upon a time, a lonely old sorceress lived alone on a river, attending to her cherry trees. She eventually became so lonely that she began to imagine what it might be like to have some company. She resolved to craft an item that would cause someone to stay. Thus, she began bewitching her favorite golden comb.

This item can only be used on a willing creature with hair or fur.* For each time the comb is run through the creature's hair, they lose one year of memory. The creature can make a Perception check DC 20. If the Perception check is passed, then the creature regains their memories and knows the comb's user was removing their memories.

A creature affected by the comb may make a Perception check each time the creature might remember something specific from the memories they lost (at GM's discretion). If the affected creature passes a number of Perception checks (at DC 20) equal to the number of uses, the spell effects are nullified and the affected creature knows the comb's user removed their memories. The effects can also be removed by the "Remove Curse" spell.

*Note: "Willing" means willing to have their hair/fur combed, not willing to have their memory removed. Thus, the victim does not need to be aware of the comb's magical properties to be affected.

Notes: To attune, the user must hold the comb in their palm and think about what type of friends they'd like to have., Control, Utility, enchantment
