This weapon holds the spirit of House Do'Urden's former weapons master eager to pass on his finer techniques. You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon. It has the following additional properties.
- First Lesson: ( Attunement- 3 days ) You gain proficiency in this weapon if you didn't already have it.
- Second Lesson: ( Level 8 ) Superior technique, pick one Battlemaster discipline and get a superiority dice for that discipline, sword gains a +2 to hit/damage.
- Third Lesson: ( Level 10 ) - Relentless training with Zaknafein's spirit has given you deadly skill with swords. Your weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20. Sword becomes a +3 to hit/damage.
- On a natural 1, Spectral hands adjust your stance granting advantage on next attack
- On a nat 20, Zaknafein appears as a spectral image and attacks with you for an extra 1d8 magical damage
Sword is sentient and intelligent( 19) and speaks Drow, Undercommon,Common and Elvish

Having lost the weapon master of House Daermon N'a'shezbaernon, and the greatest swordsman in Menzoberranzan, they attempted to use him to train future weapon masters for House Baenre but his will proved too strong and became a nuisance instead.
