Alternate Reactor Cannon
An energy weapon from the future, it differs from other weapons of its time, fitted with a new type of energy reactor that allows for higher energy output and personal forcefields, however the only place it can be found in the present day is through rips in time (placed at the DM's discretion)
Main Attack
The main attack of the A.R.C Cannon is a beam of super-hot plasma, however because the weapon is currently a prototype the beam can only be fired for a few seconds until the Cannon overheats and uses a charge, the volatile nature of the reactor on the weapon only allows for ten charges until it has to recharge which is done while the character takes a short or long rest
Plasma Ball
The runoff energy from the powerful reactor on the weapon allows for a charge to be used firing a ball of plasma from the weapon similar to the fireball spell from the present time. The fireball uses one charge from the pool of ten
Personal Forcefield
The A.R.C Cannon projects a forcefield around the weapons holder that takes shape as a hexagonal grid around the holder which gives a bonus to AC and also holds the user steady which prevents them from being stunned
It’s up to you to decide whether a character has proficiency with a firearm. Characters in most D&D worlds wouldn’t have such proficiency. During their downtime, characters can use the training rules in the Player’s Handbook to acquire proficiency, assuming that they have enough ammunition to keep the weapons working while mastering their use.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
Notes: Bonus: Armor Class, Immunity: Stunned, Range, Two-Handed, Ammunition (Firearms), Reload, Slow

Okay but do certain moves take actions etc also what damage of fireball is it just a more powerful fireball staff with flavor text? What makes it unique and why should I use this over something else, what is the encouragement to giving my players something this strong? What type of damage does it do? Does it hit dc or saving dc? I have so many questions unanswered, can the shield be abused infinitely? how much AC, why stunned specifically…
Love the flavour, but:
* What's the damage die and type for the main attack?
* What level is the fireball cast at?
* What's the AC bonuns?
And beyond that, unless the beam does the same damage as a fireball, you know 99.99% of the players will just treat this as a wand of fireball with 10 charges, fireball should be more expensive than the regular beam
what's the damage
