Weapon (rapier), very rare (requires attunement by a Air Genasi)

A pair of Rapiers handed down through Djinn bloodlines. The Elegant beauty of the blades as they sing through the air is only surpassed by the devastating wind attacks they can produce.

When attuned, these blades require life essence to activate their true potential. As a bonus action, The wielder can Channel their life force (HP) into the blades too add extra effects to their strikes. 2 hp fires a sharp pinpoint spear of wind causing an additional 1d4 piercing damage, 4 hp blows forth a hammering ball of forceful wind causing 1d8 bludgeoning damage, 8 hp unleashes a fine blade of wind causing 1d12 slashing damage, 16 hp calls down a 30 ft sphere of whirlwinds centered on the wielder causing 1d20 force damage to all enemies in range and enemies must succeed on a DC-17 strength saving throw or be pushed back to the outside edge of the sphere and be knocked prone, standing their ground on a success.

As the wielder grows stronger, their ancestors become more proud of their progeny. Imbuing the blades with more power, adding an one extra hit die at levels 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, & 18. At level 15 the life essence required to activate the blades is doubled.

DM Notes:

Both rapiers are required too attune to the set. Attuning to the set counts as one attuned item. All damage from these blades counts as magical.

Proficiency with a Rapier allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
