Timepiercer is a weapon of unknown origin. At the top of a long shaft sits a white socket that is home to an almost fluid looking blue blade. Whoever wields this weapon encounters strange undescribable occurances that seemingly twist the flow of time. Along the socket strange runes are displayed that aren't of any larger known language and neither look like it has anything in common with known languages. The shape of the socket and blade as well have rectangular features that are almost unheard of in history.
- The wielder gains a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
- When throwing this weapon, the wielder can declare a Time Glitch, allowing them to reduce a creatures initiative to 1 on a hit. They cannot use this ability again until they finish a short or long rest.
- When a creature is killed while pierced from this weapon, time seems to stop for the creature. It doesn't move, neither by force or gravity. It doesn't decay and nothing it touches other than Timepiercer can be removed from it.
- As a Bonus action, a creature attuned to this weapon, can make it appear in its hands, as long as it is within the same plane.
Proficiency with a Javelin allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, Thrown, Slow
