Weapon (longsword), rare (requires attunement by a 10 minute ritual to attune. )

This weapon has a totally black blade that curves back and forth slightly. It has a rough texture, and whatever it is made of seems to be unprocessed and raw. It has a crossguard hilt wrapped in black leather and a jet black onyx pommel stone.

You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

When you hit a humanoid, celestial, and fey with this weapon, it takes an additional 2d6 necrotic damage.

When the user attunes to it, they are infected with the withering. This corruption will make them take 1d4 necrotic damage every time they defeat an enemy with this weapon, given a failed DC 14 wisdom saving throw. They are also compelled to be crueler and not let go of the weapon.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
