Weapon (greatsword), very rare (requires attunement)

This blade can grow unnaturally large and deal terrible damage to foes. But just wielding it requires great feats of strength.

As a bonus action you can activate the blade and it grows large. While the blade is large every hit deals an additional 1d6 damage. You must make a Strength save DC 15 at the end of every round. On a failed save you let the blade fall to the ground and it shrinks to its normal size. You can use this ability multiple times to let the blade grow again. This increases the damage by 1d6 and the DC by +5 for every additional use of this ability. Once you let the blade fall you can no longer use this ability until a long rest.

Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.

Notes: Heavy, Two-Handed, Graze
