This wondrous item comes in a pair of brass whistles, identical from each other. When one is blown into, the other is the one that makes a piercing whistling sound. They have a range of up to 1 mile and can be heard up to 500 ft. away. The magical link is not hindered by stone, wood, earth, metal,  or water. Each pair of Whistlers is magically attuned to each other and will not pair with another Whistler unless a ritual of attunement is preformed. The ritual consist of bringing the magically paired whistles together and blowing on them at the same time. If this is done with another Whistler or pair of Whistlers within 5 feet, all the Whistlers will magically sync and be paired with each other. A pairing can be broken by performing this ritual with only two Whistlers within 5 feet of each other. If this is done the Whistlers that are part of the this ritual will revert back to a single pair. All other Whistlers that were paired remain so. When more than two Whistlers are attuned and one is blown into, all other Whistlers paired with it make the sound.
