You can use a bonus action to speak this magic sword's command word, causing a blot of blue yellow lightning energy to erupt from the blade. This high voltage discharge flashes bright light in a 40-foot radius and dim light for an additional 40 feet. While the sword is electrified, it deals an extra 2d6 lightning damage to any target it hits. The lightning discharges last until you use a bonus action to speak the command word again or until you drop or sheathe the sword.
Proficiency with a Shortsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
