Effect: A creature chewing on the treated witherbark gained the benefits of the “Barkskin” spell. The bark can be smoked to grant a +1 bonus on Intelligence saving throws.
Drawback: None.
The witherbark tree is, contrary to its name, not always brittle and withering. The tree gets its name from the natural habitats it is most often found in – decaying parts of marshlands where the ground is rich in nutrients from other withering plants.
