Tinker's Wandering Eye is a cute little semi magical semi automaton floating eye companion first made by a female elven artificer that was not very perceptive and liked to tinker while she walked. After being first made it become quickly popular with adventurers and so many artificers attempted to mimic the creation to make money but most designs fell extraordinarily short of the original and due to the surprisingly complicated and intricate design not may were able to be made before most gave up
Properties:
- Tinker's Wandering Eye is connected to you through a psychic allowing it to notify you similar to the alarm spell
- If Tinker's Wandering Eye becomes inactive you lose all benefits from being attuned to it until it is rebooted
- Can be set to 1 of 3 different passive modes chosen after a short rest
- Mode 1 is detect magic in which case you will be alerted of any magic within 30ft of Tinker's Wandering Eye
- Mode 2 is find trap in which case you will be alerted of any traps within 30ft of Tinker's Wandering Eye
- Mode 3 is see invisible in which case you will be alerted of anything invisible within 30ft of Tinker's Wandering Eye
- Tinker's Wandering Eye floats around you and can only go 2 times your INT value in ft away from you before losing the psychic link and falling to the ground, becoming inactive
- If Tinker's Wandering Eye becomes inactive you will have to reboot it during a short rest
- It also has 5 charges that allow it to scan like a radar through walls everything within 100ft for 3 minutes
- These charges can be used to detect undead, locate object, locate creature, and locate animals or plants
- If all 5 charges are expended Tinker's Wandering Eye becomes inactive
- It recharges 1d4 +1 every long rest
- Gives you +5 to passive perception
- Gives you dark vision and blind vision up to 60ft
