Weapon (longsword), legendary (requires attunement by a Wizard)

This thick, leather-wrapped adamantine wand holds a secret. When swung like a sword, a glowing runed blade of varying colors slashes out at the target. The runes provide an extra layer of protection to the wielder.

You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. You have proficiency with this blade even if you normally cannot wield longswords, and when you attack with this weapon, you can use your Intelligence modifier, instead of Strength or Dexterity, for the attack and damage rolls. In addition, this weapon can function as a spellcasting implement, and while holding this wand (hilt), you gain a +2 bonus to spell attack rolls. You also ignore half cover when making a spell attack. While attuned to this weapon, you gain a +1 bonus to AC and saving throws.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
