Rustic, wooden tonfas of Garufan origin. Their elegant craftmanship lends to ease of use, gaining a flat +1 to hit. Coiled around the handles are wires, glowing blue. Deals 1d4+1 bludgeoning damage plus your dexterity mod. Damage from these tonfas is cybernetically enhanced, bypassing basic resistances to bludgeoning.
Garufan Ability: Wire Whip - Once per minute (10 rounds), you can take the attack action to uncoil the wiring around the tonfas, charging them with electricity and launching them up to 15 ft. Deals the normal damage plus an additional 2d8 lightning damage. After this attack, the cybernetics in the weapon need to cool down, allowing bludgeoning resistance to take effect against them until the wires glow again (10 rounds following the special attack). This ability has a 10% chance to temporarily paralyze the target on hit (lasts until they take another instance of damage).
Conductive Electricity - Targets hit by the special attack while in water will take an additional 1d8 lightning damage. The user will also take this damage if they use the ability while submerged in water themselves.
Proficiency with a Club allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
