Weapon (longsword), artifact (requires attunement by a Requires attunement by a Nature Cleric, Druid, or Oath of the Ancients Paladin)

You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this sentient magic weapon. The blade is inhabited by a nature spirit with a desire to destroy aberrations. It has 14 intelligence, 18 Wisdom, and 13 Charisma. 

When you hit an aberration with this weapon, the creature takes an additional 2d6 slashing damage and must succeed on a DC 16 wisdom saving throw or be frightened of you until the start of your next turn. 

This longsword has 3 charges. While holding it, you can use an action and spend 1 charge to cast Wall of Thorns (save DC 16). You can also spend 1 charge as part of the attack action on your turn to release the Thorns of Silvanus, causing thorny vines to grow from the hilt and encompass the blade for the next minute. This increases the reach of this weapon to 15 feet and causes it to deal an additional 1d6 piercing damage to any target it hits.

The longsword regains 1d3 charges daily at dawn. 

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
