This glass flask has a writhing and erratic lightning bolt thrashing inside of it. Tapping your finger against the glass of the flask causes the lighting to strike out against you, desperate to escape.

This flask can be drunk like a potion or thrown like a grenade, when drunk, it acts as a potion of storm giant strength, at the end of the hour after use, the drinker casts the spell Chain Lightning at 6th level with a DC of 20 with the DM determining the targets randomly.

If thrown, the flask smashes against a surface within 60 feet and releases the lightning. Each creature within 30 feet must make a DC 20 Constitution saving throw or become deafened for 1 hour. Then, the flask casts Chain Lightning at 9th level with a DC of 20 with the DM choosing the targets randomly.
