Weapon (longsword), artifact (requires attunement by a by an elf or half-elf of the neutral good alignment)

This Moonblade +2, once wielded by the silver dragon Xaryssia, has the finesse property and deals an extra d6 cold damage whenever it lands a hit.

In addition, this weapon functions like a Ring of Spell Storing (with the exception that it can only store spells cast from its attuned wielder). It stores spells cast into it, holding them until the attuned wearer uses them. It can hold up to 5 levels worth of spells at a time. The attuned wearer can cast a spell of 1st through 5th level into the weapon by touching it as the spell is cast. The spell has no effect, other than to be stored in the weapon. If the weapon can't hold the spell, the spell is expended without effect. The level of the slot used to cast the spell determines how much space it uses.

To cast a spell stored in this weapon, the attuned user has to be wielding it.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
