A versatile and light set of armor created by Thackery Lanshire the elderly tanner for the township of Phandalin. Using the naturally reinforced carapace of the arrowhead crab as plates through out the leather the wearer is granted a far more sturdy and durable armor against piercing projectiles without the weight or using iron or similar materials.

• Ranged weapon attacks are made at disadvantage against this reinforced chitin leather armor.

The breastplate and shoulder protectors of this armor are made of leather that has been stiffened by being boiled in oil. The rest of the armor is made of softer and more flexible materials.
