The Specter’s Spear has +3 to attack and damage rolls. It contains a soul of a person and you can talk to this specter. This specter can possess you. When possessed, your ability score is changed. It is changed for 10 hours or until the specter leaves, whichever one is less.  The specter can also move out of the spear, but only 30 feet away and while attuned. The specter has the specter stat block from the Monster Manual but it cannot attack. If killed, it will rest in the spear for one hour and cannot possess or leave the spear.

Proficiency with a Spear allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
