Expertly crafted & decorated in gold & lithium, Abieator is the life's work of a forgotten blacksmith.

Even if you aren’t attuned to the sword, you gain a +1 bonus on attack rolls and damage rolls made with this weapon. If you aren't attuned to Abieator, you can deal an extra 1d6 necrotic damage as a bonus action when you hit with the weapon.

Increased Potency

While you are attuned to this weapon, its bonus on attack rolls & damage rolls increases to +3, & you can deal an extra 2d6 necrotic damage (instead of 1d6) as a bonus action when you hit with the weapon.

Eye of Greed

As an action Abieator can choose to absorb any material or magical weapon that makes it stronger & take its properties, as well as some of its physical features.

Sentience

Abieator is a sentient chaotic evil weapon with an Intelligence of 19, a Wisdom of 13, and a Charisma of 23. It has hearing & truesight out to a range of 120 feet. The weapon can speak, read, & understand Common, & can communicate with creatures & other weapons within 30 feet telepathically. When speaking, a singular glowing yellow eye appears in the center of the guard. Its voice is hyper & raspy. While you are attuned to it, Abieator also understands every language you know.

Personality

Abieator speaks with a charismatic, arrogant, & snarky tone, tending to do as it pleases. Abieator is very prideful & will not absorb anything it does not believe it has conquered, such as a stolen blade. Abieator is also known to be very narcissistic, spreading countless tales about itself & its successes, however, no one can testify whether or not these tales are true. Abieator is also known to start trouble whenever it feels bored, utilizing its ability to communicate telepathically to create conflict & drama.

Proficiency with a Scimitar allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
