Attunement with this weapon grants an extra 5ft of reach to melee attacks as each swing is extended by a burst of wind doing the same damage as the weapon. The wielder may also you it as a focus for spellcasting. This is considered a finesse weapon.
Attunement with this weapon also allows the wielder to expend a charge as a bonus action and cast Wind Wall or Warding Wind by spinning the staff around them to create the spell's effect, no components needed. Melee attacks against them are also at a disadvantage while maintaining the spells in this manner. Any action or movement drops the spell. There is a total of 3 charges that recharge 1 per short rest and all 3 per long rest.
