More or less immense combat gloves fashioned with dense metal plates or spikes, the weight and simplicity afford the user excellent control and offensive capabilities at the cost of exposing themselves to attack on the approach.
- When the user makes an attack with these weapons, on a hit they can also attempt to grapple the target as a bonus action, making a contested grapple check.
- Alternatively, the user can use a bonus action to make a single extra attack with the weapon.
- As they are still effectively gloves, they do not require empty hands to use, and the user can still hold/manipulate objects.
- when rolling damage for a crit, you may roll the extra damage 2 times instead of just once (6d6 total)
However, due to the heft of the gauntlets and the distance they must close to use them effectively, they put themselves at risk to attack. When a user makes at least one attack with the gauntlets, until the start of their next turn, all attack rolls made against the user may add 2 to their hit roll.
A shield cannot be used with these weapons
