Weapon (rapier), artifact (requires attunement by a Rogue)

This ornate, slightly blood-stained rapier looks to have an intense sort of aesthetic about it. It seems to weigh more than it looks. Held by one of the more prominent lords of Thieves throughout history, this blade is made to deal as much damage as possible.

You gain +3 to attack and damage rolls you make with this magic weapon.

Grounds For Death. When you successfully make a Sneak Attack against a target with this weapon, you treat the d6's you use for your Sneak Attack as d10's instead.

Cursed. This weapon is cursed - attuning to it extends its curse to you. While attuned to this magic weapon, you are compelled to always have it on your person, and are willing to attack anyone at the thought of trying to take it away from you. As well, whenever you miss an attack roll against a target that qualifies for your Sneak Attack, you take the Sneak Attack damage you would have dealt.

Proficiency with a Rapier allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, Rogue, Damage, Combat, Cursed, Finesse, Vex
