A wyvern scale mace is made of the scales of one kind of wyvern. Most times, hunters carefully skin and preserve the hide of a dead wyvern. Whilst in most cases, scales of creatures like wyverns and dragons are reserved for armor, some may make attempts to add them to their weapons.

This weapon deals 1d8 damage with a +1 to attack.

Additionally, due to it being made by a follower of Gond, the heat coming from the forge is naturally imbued into the weapon. Twice per long rest, one is able to heat up the mace exponentially and deal and extra 2d4 fire damage on a melee weapon attack.

Proficiency with a Warhammer allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
