The battle with the dead is eternal and never ending. The gods of death, ironically, created this armor to extend the life of their chosen warriors, making it more likely to be able to fight the forces of those who fly against the will of death.
Those wearing this armor are significantly harder to kill. Though when those wearing it do die, that death is in all ways permanent, short of a Wish spell.
Twice each day, this armor casts Death Ward on it's wearer; once automatically, and a second time as soon as the first is used. This property recharges after a long rest. Further, wearers of this armor have advantage on Death Saving Throws.
In other ways, it is a +2 leather armor.
The breastplate and shoulder protectors of this armor are made of leather that has been stiffened by being boiled in oil. The rest of the armor is made of softer and more flexible materials.
Notes: Advantage: Death Saving Throws, Bonus: Armor Class, short rest during which you lay among the natural life of the wilderness
