A sword with a pale blue/silver blade and white, ivory hilt carved with a figure of a snarling wolf's head on the pommel. A faint cold mist seems to emanating from it. 

You gain a +1 to attack and damage rolls with this weapon. 

When you hit with an attack using this magic sword, the target takes an extra 1d6 cold damage. In addition, while you hold the sword, you have resistance to fire damage.

When you draw this weapon,  it releases a gust of cold air extinguishing all nonmagical flames within 10 feet of you. 

Grip of Winter: Once per round whenever you hit an enemy with this weapon, they must make a DC 13 CON save or it's speed is reduced by 5 feet for 1 minute. If it's speed is reduced to 0 it becomes frozen for 1 minute (see petrified condition). While frozen they may use their action to make a DC 15 STR check to break free of the ice. 
If the enemy makes any successful save against these effects, they can not be effected by this feature again for 24 hours.

Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
