A tablet made of unknown material (it has the weight of dry-wood, the texture of polished stone, and the appearance of cloth) that has the ability to access the Weave - a arcane information network used by mostly magic users though there are a few non-magic users slowly making their own spaces within the Weave's "reality".

With this item, you can contact others as long as they haven their own Tablet. If shops have their own Tablets, you can use this item to make negotiations and anything you'd be able to do verbally. The Weave prevents spellcasting over the Weave, though some find their own way to leave curses in packets of information.

This item can be used to communicate regularly, but must be turned off for a long rest to regain its "charge" via sunlight or moonlight. Messages received during this time will be archived for the user and able to access when it's next turned on.
