Weapon (whip), unknown rarity

The dancing fool that equips The Whip of Music makes a +7 Ranged Attack to hit a creature. On a hit, the creature takes 1d12 of slashing damage. With a 17 or higher on the attack roll, the wielder rolls a d4 to crack some additional funky fools with The Whip of Music. Each creature must make a 16 DC Wisdom Saving throw, or submit to the sweet music that hits them and either happy dance, slow dance, or cry in their feels underneath a magical, glowing disco ball - staying in their place. The dancing creature can make 16 DC Wisdom Saving Throws per round to step off the wave of beautiful music and continue combat. The whip has three charges per long rest.

On a CRIT FAIL from the wielder, the creature, along with a d4 of surrounding creatures, are embued with the spirit of the music, rather, and will add a +5 to hit to each attack roll and a +5 bonus damage to each of their attack during the combat.

Damage increases to 2d12 (2d4 on successful bonus roll) at Level 6, 3d12 (3d4 on successful bonus roll) at Level 9, 4d12 (4d4 on successful bonus roll) at Level 12, etc (increases a d12 per three levels).

WEAPON DESCRIPTION: The Whip of Music has been crafted by Zhara of Glacia for an adventuring Bard from The Ember Tropics. The easy-to-grip handle is fashioned from piano keys, which play piano sounds when gripped. The whip itself is magically crafted from the various string instruments from the world of Mokahu. When the whip is "whipped," various colored musical notes magically appear following the trajectory of the whip with sounds of brass and wind instruments on the action. When the whip hits, a sweet swell of percussion drums reverberates throughout a 30ft area. When these actions are all put together, the sound resembles a quick three-second instrument riff that wielder thinks of.

Proficiency with a Whip allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
