Weapon (greatsword), rare (requires attunement by a Due to the heavy nature of the zweihander, it requires 7 short tests for the PC to properly handle.)

Developed from longswords and roughly the same length of a greatsword (albeit not as heavy), the Zweihander is used against soldier formations, especially those that generally use pole weapons. Daring mercenaries and war heroes use the zweihander to sweep or cut the heads off the pole weapons to make a vulnerable hole in the enemy lines for the soldiers on their side to exploit.

Bane of Pole Weapons When the PC rolls a critical strike on an enemy with a polearm weapon (i.e. glance, spear, long lance, etc.), it can choose to break the weapon instead of inflicting damage to the enemy.

Sweeping Edge If several enemies are within reach of the Zweihander, the PC can use 2 attack actions and make a DC 13 Strength check to make a sweeping attack on them. Upon a successful roll, the PC attacks the several enemies at once with +2 bonus damage to attack roll. Otherwise, the PC only damages one of the enemies with +1 bonus damage to attack roll.

Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.

Notes: Due to the heavy nature of the zweihander, it requires 7 short tests for the PC to properly handle., Heavy, Two-Handed, Graze
