Wondrous Item, artifact

Tome of Divinity is a book of great value to Light Wielders across Azeroth. Able to be forged only by extremely high level Priests, Paladins, and Seekers of Glorious Truth, the Tome of Divinity cuts through pseudo-political and factional influences of the Light and provides raw, untempered knowledge of Righteousness and its power. Mortal eyes can behold the text, but they cannot truly comprehend it, nor submit it to memory. Instead, when they are inundated by Divinity while reading from the tome, they can use this energy to create incredible manifestations of energy, nearly to the point of being Miraculous in nature.

Reading from a Tome of Divinity at the start of each day increases the reader's charisma by 2, up to a maximum of 24, for eight hours. If the reader performs this ritual every day for a year, their charisma permanently increases by 2, and they can no longer benefit from this effect.

As well, a Tome of Divinity allows the reader to cast the following spells. These spells can be cast once, and cannot be cast again until the next dawn.

9th level: Mass Heal Power Word: Heal
8th level: Holy Aura [spell[Sunburst[/spell] Earthquake
7th level: Conjure Celestial Divine Word Fire Storm Temple of the Gods
6th level: Heal Blade Barrier Planar Ally True Seeing Sunbeam

The Tome of Divinity can only be destroyed by coming into direct contact with the Eye of Shadow. Doing this will cause an explosion five hundred feet in diameter, dealing raw, unmitigated Chaos damage. At 0-100 feet, the damage taken is 20d10. At 101-200 feet, the damage taken is 10d10. At 200+ feet, the damage taken is reduced to 10d6. Entering an area where a Tome of Divinity has been destroyed causes 10d6 Psychic Damage every minute. This effect fades after 1d4 days, but Divine and Shadow magic will not work in the 500 foot area for 365 days after the destruction of the tome.
