Wondrous Item, rare
This is a vial of liquid silver, a creation of the famous Monsterhunter Rudolph van Richten. It's a tool to fight of Lycanthrophes. To craft a Vial of Liquid Silver it requires the following:
- A minium of 50g of Silver.
- An oven or another appropriate source of heat
- 4 Hours of Downtime
The Vial of Liquid Silver has the properties of a thrown weapon. As an action, or if a feat or ability allows it, as a bonus action a creature may make a ranged attack roll with the Vial of Liquid Silver. The modifier used is Dexterity. The range of attack is 60ft with a longrange of 120ft. On Impact the Vial deals 1d4 of acid damage and coats the target in Liquid Silver. A coated target gains following properties:
- If the target is an Lycanthrope, all attacks untill the Vial's User's next turn have advantage on it. All attacks count as "silvered" for this duration.
- For 1 minute the Lycanthrope has disadvantage on constitution and dexterity saving throws.
- For 1 minute, if the target is a Lycanthrope all Attacks, Spells and Abilities that deal radiant or firedamage add 1 damage die of their type to damage calcualtions.
- While the target is coated in the Liquid Silver, fire and radiant damage have a chance to ignite it and cause an explosion located on and 5ft around the target. Whenever a creature deals radiant or fire damage, the attacker may roll a d20. On a 20 the Liquid ingites, dealing 6d6 of that damage type to the creature and in a 5ft radius.
The target that is covered in Liquid Silver may use its action to wipe as much of it off as possible.
