This sword once belonged to a wizard who loved word games. He had the handy tool created so he was always prepared. The sword (or hilt rather) has 5 rotating dials each with the letters A-Z and a blank space. Each time you spell a word with the dials and push the button on the pommel a charge is expended. When you expend a charge tell the DM what word you have chosen and they will explain the effect it has on the sword at their discretion. The sword stays in the form of the last word until a new word is spelled and the button pushed. Only words spelled by the sword can destroy it.
Proficiency with a Shortsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
Notes: Shapechanging, Finesse, Light, Vex
