This retractable blade sits inside a uniquely crafted leather and metal bracer. The blade, itself, rests on top of the wielder's forearm and by using a bonus action the blade can be unsheathed from the bracer. Still attached to the bracer, the blade is wide and covers the entire backside of the wielder's hand. This offers slight protection with a +1 to AC but further limits the wielder as they cannot use any weapon or tool in that hand. Furthermore, the position of the blade also restricts the hand's movements, not allowing the wielder to perform somatic components of spellcasting with that hand, regardless of the blade being sheathed or not.

While a typical variant of the wristblade, several wielder's often visit artisans and inscribe the bracer or blade with personal markings. The blade can be removed from the bracer for repairs and alterations, allowing a skilled smith to further imbue and strengthen the weapon.

Due to the delicate construction of the bracer and attached blade, the weapon is crafted with an initial magical enhancement to fortify the structure, allowing the weapon to inflict wounds to creatures and entities normally resistant or immune to non-magical attacks.
